Sacred Tree

This is the tree Daraku was sealed in. When the monk sealed Daraku, he also used the power of the sword to keep him contained. Only the true wielder can pull the sword out from the tree and defeat Daraku. Throughout time, many travelers that have come across the tree hear the stories of Daraku and how he may one day be set free from the tree. The superstitious fear that Daraku may escape at any moment and place their own swords into the tree in hopes that it help contain the demon.
